If you play on any form of Minecraft: Bedrock Edition (Pocket Edition, Xbox, PC Bedrock, etc.), then you can still join the servers below:

The Strife: Season IV

Keep in mind that custom item models and some game mechanics will not work on Bedrock, so if you can play on Java, you should do so.

HOW TO JOIN ON XBOX

2. Press the "Settings" button in the settings tab.

3. Locate the "Network settings" option. This could either be under General > Network settings, or under Network > Network settings. Click on this option.

4. Under "Current Network Status", check if the network type is IPv4. If your network says "IPv6" or "IPv4 and IPv6", please go to the "HOW TO DISABLE IPV6" section of this page. Otherwise, click on "Advanced settings".

5. Click on "DNS settings".

6. Switch the DNS mode from "Automatic" to "Manual".

7. A "Change settings" window will appear. In the box labeled "Primary IPv4 DNS" type in the IP "104.238.130.180". If you are experiencing issues later on in the process, try changing this IP to "173.82.100.84".

What does this do? Well, essentially Microsoft has locked down the ability to connect to anything but featured servers on console Bedrock versions. Changing this DNS intercepts your connection to these featured servers and forwards it to BedrockConnect, which is a free, open source service that allows Bedrock players to connect to Java servers. This means that joining a featured server will bring up a screen that allows you to add custom servers, as well as join the default featured ones.

8. Now, a box requesting a "Secondary IPv4 DNS" will appear. Here, just put 8.8.8.8 in.

9. A confirmation screen should come up. If everything looks good, restart your Xbox.

10. Launch Minecraft. On the main menu, press play, then go to the servers tab.

The server address should be the IP of the server you want to connect to (if it's one of ours, our default IP is play.conglomerate.live), and the port is the last part of the IP (our servers generally use the port 20001). After you put this in, make sure to check the "Add to server list" option so you can easily connect to the server again in the future.

HOW TO DISABLE IPV6

2. In the window that appears, type either ipconfig (Windows) or ifconfig (Mac and Linux).

3. Locate the line that says "Default Gateway".

4. Double click on the Default Gateway IP address and copy it with Ctrl + C (or right-click > copy on some Linux distros).

7. If you do not have access to a computer, here is a list of common router IP addresses you can try.

5. Paste this IP into your web browser. It will likely mark this site as "Not Secure", but don't worry, this is just the site of your Wifi router.

6. From here, find the setting to turn off IPv6 on your router. Unfortunately, all router websites look different, so we cannot provide screenshots here. You may need to restart your router after making this change.

8. Continue where you left off in setting up whatever device you play Minecraft on!
